BNB Chain enables crypto payments for AWS customers through better payment network

Businesses using Amazon Web Services can now pay their cloud bills with BNB, following a new integration between BNB Chain and the Better Payment Network (BPN).

BNB Chain announced that AWS customers are able to settle service fees using BNB through BPN, a payments infrastructure built directly on the BNB Chain. The integration allows companies to make real-time payments with lower fees, offering an alternative to traditional cross-border settlement methods.

BPN is designed as an enterprise-grade payment network that bridges digital assets — including BNB and stablecoins — with conventional financial systems. The platform brings together regulated stablecoin issuers, financial institutions, decentralized finance platforms, and institutional market makers to create more efficient global payment rails.

Sarah Song, head of business development at BNB Chain, said the move expands BNB’s role beyond trading. She noted that AWS customers now have access to faster, lower-cost payments with global reach, while BNB gains traction as a practical settlement asset for both crypto-native firms and mainstream enterprises.

The integration reflects the growing adoption of blockchain-based payments within BNB Chain’s ecosystem, which has expanded into real-world financial applications such as payments, tokenized assets, and enterprise solutions. By enabling AWS billing through BPN, BNB is positioned as a functional tool for frequent, cross-border business transactions.

Rica Fu, founder of Better Payment Network, said the collaboration highlights how digital assets can improve efficiency at scale. According to Fu, BPN’s infrastructure is built to support secure and scalable transactions for both institutional and retail users, and the AWS integration demonstrates how crypto payments can be seamlessly embedded into enterprise workflows.

Key features of the service include real-time programmable settlement, cost-efficient global transfers using BNB, institutional-level security and compliance, and direct integration with AWS billing systems via BPN.

The BNB payment option is now available to AWS customers worldwide through BPN, supporting both enterprise and developer billing accounts.
